HYDROGEN technology is already promising to revolutionise the world of driving and, in August, BOC unveiled its pioneering new car.
The vehicle, which BOC said could hasten the end of conventional cars, is fuelled by hydrogen and its only waste product is water.
In addition to its environmentally-friendly credentials, the BOC GH2OST, is virtually silent, hence its name.
It was road-tested by Claudia Woon, 24, above front, at its official unveiling.
Other companies have also developed hydrogen cars, which run on cells and therefore are less bulky because they do not have the need for an engine or fuel tank.
Already a prototype in London is running on the gas, using only £10 a day compared with a much higher cost for petrol or diesel.
