A COMMUNITY centre is looking forward to a rosy future as a new manager takes charge.
Ephraim Bunting is the new manager of the Jubilee Fields Centre, in Shildon.
The 48-year-old has taken on the post after being made redundant from his job as a health and safety manager for a manufacturing firm.
He said: "I have done a lot of voluntary work with the town's fishing club and the Prince's Trust, so I thought this was something I would like to do.
"There is lots of potential, and the staff and management committee are excellent. I am really looking forward to the challenge."
