People who live in a rural area are being given a chance of cut-price tickets to theatres and subsidised travel on coaches if they join a club run by the local council.
Bargains are on offer to everyone joining the free Theatre and Gallery Club, organised by Rosie Cross, Teesdale District Council's arts officer.
Tickets are available for Madame Butterfly, at Sunderland Empire on Saturday, November 29, and for Cymbeline, at the Newcastle Playhouse, on Saturday, December 6, at 7.15pm.
Bookings can be made by calling (01833) 696280.
