RUGBY players will be looking their best as they fight for promotion this season thanks to a local firm.
Richmondshire Rugby Football Club have agreed a sponsorship deal with Charltons Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors.
The firm, which has offices in Richmond, Darlington, Catterick Garrison and Barnard Castle, has agreed to be the main sponsor of the team's kit for this season.
The strip will still be in the club's red, white and yellow colours, but as the main sponsor, Charltons will have its logo across the front of all the jerseys.
Company principal Mike Charlton has played senior rugby since 1969 and started his first-team career with Sunderland in 1969.
He spent 20 seasons as player and captain for Mowden Park RFC and then played for Richmondshire Rugby Football Club for four years. He has spent the past two seasons coaching the first team with colleague Paul Leadbetter.
He said yesterday: "The kit looks absolutely fantastic and is sure to give the team a real boost in their battle to gain promotion at the end of this season."
