PEOPLE parking their cars before setting off to walk across the moors are causing problems for Esk Valley residents.
Following protests by Danby Parish Council notices may be put on windscreens saying the cars are causing an obstruction.
Bill Breakell, tourism and transport officer for the North York Moors National Park, is to attend a meeting of the northern area parish forum to discuss the problem after calls for car parks were ruled out on the grounds they would spoil the landscape and be contrary to the park's policy of encouraging people to use public transport.
