YOUNG people and schools in Teesdale and Wear Valley could win up to £250 in an art competition organised by the Durham Dales Primary Care Trust.
The Health in Art competition, open to children aged from 11 to 16, is called What Leisure Means to Young People.
There will be one overall winner and two runners-up. The winner will receive £250 for the art department of their school, or for development projects chosen by their youth group, as well as £150 worth of gift vouchers. The runners-up will receive £50 worth of gift vouchers.
All the artwork will go on public display and be included in the Durham Dales Public Health Annual Report.
People wishing to take part must register an interest before Friday, October 17. The closing date for submission of work is Friday, November 14.
