TWO police forces are working together to try to find a missing girl.
Durham Constabulary and Cleveland Police are joining forces to search for 16-year-old Louise Tume, who has been missing since last Wednesday, after she left her home in Hurworth, near Darlington, at 12.40pm.
Police are now turning their attention to Middlesbrough, after receiving reports of possible sightings in the area.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Reddick, of Darlington police, said: "We are extremely concerned for this girl's welfare and would like anyone who thinks they might have seen her to contact the police straight away."
Louise is slim, with a pale complexion, brown eyes and reddish-brown shoulder-length hair in a bob.
When last seen, she was wearing blue embroidered jeans, a blue denim jacket and high-heeled pink sandals, and was carrying a denim bag.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Darlington police on (01325) 467681, or Middlesbrough police on (01642) 326326.
