POLICE have uncovered a drugs home delivery service.
Astonished detectives on Teesside found hundreds of newly-printed "don't delay, phone today" business cards with a haul of illegal drugs. They made the discovery in one of four simultaneous raids on suspected dealers' home addresses in Middlesbrough's Grove Hill.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said officers "found a well organised drug dealing business - to the extent hundreds of business cards had been printed ready for distribution.
"As well as the cards, which promised a home delivery service, police recovered crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis with a combined street value of over £3,000."
Police also found £1,600 in cash and walkie-talkie radios in the house, which was covered by closed-circuit television.
Police Inspector Gary Gamesby said: "This was an excellent result for our officers from the district drugs unit, the district support unit and the COPs team.
"We will continue to target drug dealers in our communities and urge people to keep those calls with information coming in."
* A 35-year-old local man appeared before Teesside magistrates yesterday charged with possession and intent to supply class A drugs following the raids.
