A MAN used a knife to threaten his victim during an attempted street robbery in Ferryhill.
Police are appealing for information about the attack in Durham Road, in the Dean and Chapter area of town, at about 7.30pm on Tuesday.
A local man in his 20s was jogging when he was approached by a man carrying a knife, who demanded money and property. The victim escaped without injury.
The robber was described as being in his late 20s, 6ft, unshaven, with short, cropped, dark hair.
He was wearing a black coat, possibly made by Adidas, and black jogging bottoms.
