AN exhibition about William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement in the North-East has opened in the region.
The Bowes Musuem, in Barnard Castle, County Durham is celebrating the work of the artist and his contemporaries in the late-19th and early-20th Centuries.
A major section of the exhibition focuses on artists and craft workers in the North-East who worked during the same period and explores how William Morris influenced regional designers.
The exhibition runs until February 29.
Other upcoming exhibits include the Lindisfarne Gospels from December 15 to January 11 and Images, a selection of contemporary illustrations from books, magazines and newspapers by the Association of Illustrators, which runs from November 8 until January
