HECTIC lifestyles are proving costly for people who are losing keys and wallets, leaving doors open in their houses and running out of petrol, research showed yesterday.
A survey of 1,000 adults revealed a catalogue of mishaps as they attempted to juggle busy work and home lives.
Half of those polled by insurance firm Zurich had left a door or window open in their house or car. More than one in four had lost a handbag or wallet, a third had mislaid car or house keys and a fifth had run out of petrol.
