Catering staff at a school have helped pupils enjoy the tastes of the world.
The 300 youngsters at St Peter's C of E Primary School, Brotton, east Cleveland, have been studying cultures and cooking dishes from a different country each day, including Italy, France, China and Africa.
Children have made French pastries, pizzas, rice and maize dishes while school cook Liz Walker and her staff, wearing different costumes to suit each day, have also been supplying githeri - French stew - French omelettes, spaghetti bolognese and Italian ice cream.
Headteacher John Stinson said: "It's been a great success and the food has been excellent too.''
