The first cup finalists of the season are Hurworth Albion in the first division trophy, sponsored by The Darlington and Stockton Times.

The visitors to the Albion ground were Brinkburn Wanderers, who took an early lead with a well taken goal by Steven Charlton, the home side replied when an attempt by Jonathan Bell was well saved, but Neil Bell following in fired the ball home, a second goal for the home side followed shortly when Darren Tate put his penalty beyond the reach of Fraser Gallagher in the visitors goal, the teams went into the break with a 2-1 lead for the home side, the second 45 minutes saw no further goals, but this was enough to see Hurworth Albion through to the final.

In the last quarter final tie to be decided East End WMC and Spraire RA played out a seven-goal thriller with Spraire coming out the winners by the odd goal, Neil Jackson, Chris Scott and James Morris found the net for the home side, but a man of the match performance from Danny Richmond and goals from Andrew Wetherall, Darren Kokes and a couple from Martin Brown saw the visitors into the semi-final.

In the only first division league game Nestfield were the visitors to the Shuttle and Loom and they proved to strong for the home side running out 4-0 winners.
