AN ice rink will be installed in Stockton this winter. It will open on Friday, November 21, and close on Sunday, January 4.
The opening will coincide with BBC Children in Need night.
ART EXHBITION: An exhibition of family rituals and spiritual beliefs by local artist Mags Hayden is on display at Saltburn Artist Studios, in Marske Road, Saltburn. The exhibition, which includes a slide projection, lightboxes and a still life sculpture, is open from noon to 4pm, Wednesdays to Sundays, until November 9.
SEAL WATCH: Countryside wardens are holding a seal watch on Saturday, October 25, from 9.30am to 11.30am. The event is aimed at viewing the common and grey seals at Teesmouth, but there will also be a chance to see wading birds and other wildlife. Places must be booked in advance on (01429) 853325.
CRAFT FAIR: The Friends of Sunnyfield House hold a Christmas craft fair from 10am to 4pm tomorrow at Sunnyfield House, Westgate, Guisborough. To book a table, call (01287) 636 226. All proceeds will go to Sunnyfield House Community Centre.
CHURCH SERVICE: Anyone who has lost a loved one is invited to a service of remembrance at Newcomen Methodist Church, Mersey Road, Redcar, at 3pm tomorrow.

CHURCH AUCTION: There will be an auction of goods and promises at 7.30pm tomorrow at St Peter's Church, Redcar, in aid of church funds. Admission is £1.
LIFEBOAT STALL: Redcar Ladies Lifeboat Guild will hold a stall at Coatham Lodge, Coatham Road, in Redcar on Thursday, from 2pm to 4pm.
TABLE-TOP SALE: There will be a table-top sale at 10am tomorrow at the Whitehouse, in Redcar Road, Marske.
