THE Under-15s took on Hartleppol Crest at home in the league.
The Allstars started well and Scott Wilson scored a hat-trick in the first half. The Allstars continued with some fantastic one touch passing, resulting in a fine attacking display. In the second half, Hartlepool came back strongly, but the Allstars stowed steely determination and although Hartlepool scored a consolation goal, this was a well deserved 3-1 Allstars victory. Scott Wilson was man of the match for scoring all three goals.
The Under-9s faced Aycliffe who pressed hard and the Allstars found it hard to settle. In the second half, the Allstars changed their shape and substitute Ellis Durham scored to equalise and share the points. Man of the match was Jonathon Burn.
The Allstars were hosts to Stockton West End in the league and after a hard fought game, remain unbeaten this season. The whole squad contributed to this well deserved 1-0 victory. Bradley Simpson scored and Adam Jackson was man of the match.
The Allstars Under-11s travelled to Stockton for this weekend's league match and did not disappoint the fans, winning 4-1. The Under-11s worked hard and were 2-1 up at half time. The Allstars continued to control the second half with some driving runs down the wing from Karl Hewitt. With ten minutes to go, the Allstars went on to score two more goals and came away with the points. Daniel Thomson, Luke Thompson (2) and Josh Park scored with Karl Hewitt named man of the match.
The Allstars Under-11 Colts travelled to Belassis in the league and after a slow first half, began to control the game in the second half. This was another well deserved 5-1 victory. Thomas Airey, Mark Tweedy (2), Thomas Robson and Paul Johnson scored with Jordon Hanratty man of the match.
Playing against California Boys, the Allstars Under-12s went 2-0 up early in the game and after a few missed chances, California Boys came back into the game. After some good end to end football and a strong come back by California Boys, the Allstars worked hard to contain the pressure and win the game 3-2. The game went to the final whistle and another good result for the Allstars. Lee Gibbon, Darren Swankie and Jamie Kilday scored with Mark Grey named man of the match.
The Under-12 Colts took on the Cumby Arms and ended as 5-3 winners. The Allstars took some time settling and went down a goal, but through true commitment and determination, the Allstars came back and went on to a fine victory. Tom McCabe (2), Robert Fox, Danny Spence and Dion Sung all scored with Liam Howell man of the match.
The Allstars Under-13s took on Fishburn Boys away in the league and at half-time, after a good first half with both teams playing well, the score was 1-1. Fishburn went on to score the winner in the second half, but a draw would have been more reflective of the game. Man of the match Morgan Edwards scored for the Allstars.
The Under-13 Colts travelled to Marske but despite two Liam Clarke goals, came away with a 5-2 defeat. The Allstars found it hard to settle and Marske punished the Allstars early in the game. The Allstars came back in the second half and piled on the pressure. Lewis Oliver was man of the match.
The Under-16s were away to Seaton Carew in the Durham Cup and put on a tremendous performance to come away with the points, 2-1. This was a good all round team performance with Darryl Roberts and Adam Sams scoring and Kevin Taylor man of the match.
The Under-16 Colts were at home to Ormesby in the league. In an evenly contested game, the Allstars did not deserve to get beaten 2-0. The Allstars matched Ormesby for 80 minutes, but Ormesby had luck on their side and managed to score twice. Adam Lancaster was named man of the match.
