Playing against Billingham Girls, Norton Under-12s started the stronger team, putting together good passing movement that lead to the first goal for Olivia Inman.

Billingham fought back well but were unable to get past Norton's defence of Melissa Atkinson and Olivia Moody.

The counter attack proved too much for Billingham to contain with excellent teamwork from Olivia Inman, Kate McGuire, Sarah Proctor and new signing Sophie Hay. The first half finished 5-0 with goals from Olivia Inman (2), Sophie Hay, Kate McGuire and Sarah Proctor.

The second half brought changes with Leanne Mulligan who was forced to keep goal due to injury to goalkeeper being able to come out and be replaced by Kate McGuire. Billingham made substitutions but failed to score. Jessica Taylor Fitzharris was the most creative player for Billingham but also fought hard to win back the ball. Norton kept on the pressure and with good link up play between Olivia Inman, Sarah proctor and Leanne Mulligan scored a further four goals, one being a deflection from a corner. Billingham played a very sporting game and the game was enjoyed by all, another good advert for girls' football.

Norton Under-13s girls got off to a slow start against South Durham Royals, conceding an early goal. The girls had trouble finding any sort of rhythm, making them defend extra hard. This continued for the rest of the first half. The second goal for Durham came just after the restart, but this time Norton responded with a goal from Clair Armstrong. The rest of the game continued in the same vein but Norton conceded a further three goals despite some top class goal keeping from Rebecca Salicki towards the end of the game.
