Darlington RA have been unable to repeat the exciting form they displayed last season but manager David Woodcock is beginning to feel confident that some of his players are starting to find their feet.
Ahead of tomorrow's trip to visit Boldon CA tomorrow, Woodcock said: "We have had to make a number of changes and I am hoping that the confidence gained from last week's big win will rub off when we visit Boldon CA tomorrow.
"We badly need the three points to improve our position sixth from bottom in the Wearside League."
A blow is the unavailability of university student Paul Freary who normally makes the journey home to play. "Paul has been in good form recently but he cannot make it back this weekend and his absence will be difficult to overcome," observed Woodcock.
Robbie Hawman is still unable to play but Mark Hebdon returns and Woodcock is hopeful that Gary Hornsby will also be available.
