Willington Ladies League: Linda Marshall of Willington Club A set the new target for the best check-out of the season when she hit a 122 finish in the match at Willington Black Horse A, who began the match in second place but were pushed into joint third as their visitors took over, one point ahead of Willington Burn and the Black Horse A.

West Auckland made a good odd point darts victory on their visit to Evenwood when they took the deciding team game. Mick Holmes and Michael Townsend took singles for the home side but Chris Kitch and Robert Douthwaite levelled. Cockton Hill also relied on a win in the team game to edge through against the visiting Eldon Lane. John Carney and Gary McAloon won for the Hill, whilst Billy Percival and Kevin Weldon won for the Lane to set up the decider. Horndale made the best darts win of the week when they only dropped one point at Old Shildon, who had George Rowland as their only winner. The visitors had points from Barry Shippen, Sean Musgrave and Lenny Turner to add to the team game.

Crook Belle Vue completed their 18 darts section victory from 18 matches when they won by the odd point at Ferryhill. This kept them eight points clear of Cockton Hill ate the top of the section with Ferryhill trailing by another seven points in third place.
Ferryhill had wins from Phil Nixon, Lee Richardson and Roy brown, whilst the Crook points came from John ward, Kevin Sanderson, John Heathcoat and Jeff Sneath, who has won all his singles game in the eighteen outings. Jeff just failed to keep up a similar record in the pairs when he lost for the first time this season when he played with Kevin Sanderson, whilst his regular partner, Doug McCarthy was on holiday. Roy Brown and Tony Nixon of Ferryhill ended Jeff's record.
There were maximums from Ray Scott of Cockton Hill, Colin Barron of Crowtrees, Billy Carrick of Middlestone Moor and Joe Blakey of Willington, whilst Mark Frizzell of Byers Green starred with two 180s in a 12 darts check-out.
