At the weekend 15 swimmers competed at the Neptune, Middlesbrough. Seven medals were taken and 24 personal bests achieved out of 36 swims.
Nine-year-old Stephanie Blakeburn, with an excellent swim picked up gold in the 50m fly.
Eleven-year-old Anthony Brown with a superb swim in the 100 IM gained a bronze, his other swims being 400m free and 100m breast.
Two 13-year-olds both with brilliant swims were Stephen Cook with silver in the 100m breast and sixth in the 200m IM, also Joanne Longster coming fifth in the 200m free and sixth in the 200m IM.
Fifteen-year-old Emma Wilson, with a good swim in the 200m, back picked up bronze, her other swims being 100m fly and 400 IM.
The rest of the team all with good swims were ten-year-old Emma Shepherd in the 200m back and 50m breast and fly.
Three 11-years-olds were Harriett Goodman in the 200m free, Gareth Allen in the 400m free and 100 IM and Joseph Siberry in the 100m breast and IM. Twelve-year-old Stephanie Hughes in the 100m breast and 200m free.
Four 13-year-olds were Charlotte Brown in the 100m breast and 200m free, Pippa Shepherd and Jessica Trewin both competed in the 200m IM, 100m breast and 200m free and Lisa Sheehan in the 100m breast and 200m free. Fifteen-year-old Emma Shepherd in the 200m back and free and 50m free and back.
