Metro Church Sunderland have set the pace in the Premier Division, Gary Thomas scoring from the penalty spot in the first half against Jesmond Parish Church.
Noel Harrison stretched the lead to 2-0 with Andy Bell scoring a consultation for Jesmond in the last minute.
Consett St Patricks have also started strongly scoring two goals within seven minutes from David Cook and David Rowe at home to Airport Church Newcastle. David Westgarth added a third before the break. Consett continued scoring with Ian Dick and Andrew Murray finishing the scoring in a 5-9 win.
Division One Bethshan Christian Centre have taken hold of the top spot with Chris Thompson netting four times and Mark Langdown grabbing a hat trick and Craig Eastman a lone strike in a 8-3 win at Jesmond Parish Corinthians. Shaun Hurst a pair and a goal from Thomas Beach for Corinthians.
A penalty from Ray Wilkinson put Saint John's Snod Edge into a 1-0 half time lead over Saint Aidan's Chapel Castington and also set the running in Division One. Duncan McCulloch scored a double, with Peter Cockburn and Michael Ogle notching one each. Wilkinson got a second again from the penalty spot. Chris Ball got one for Saint Aidans as Saint John's won 6-1.
A Steve Dix goal in the first half for Monkwearmouth Christians sent them on their way to a 3-0 win over Lanchester Chapel, Ben Hodgson getting the other two second half goals.
Whitley Bay Churches got a great start at Emmanuel Yarm with Andy Hepple and Chris Stratford putting 2-0 ahead. Andy Bell put Yarm back in the match but Stratford got his second to give Bay a 3-1 lead.
Division Two newcomers Youth Ministry Team Waldridge are leading the division, Dan O'Hare opened the scoring and finished the scoring with John Armstrong getting a brace in the middle as they beat another newcomer Bethshan Athletic.
City Church Newcastle are in second spot taking a 2-1 lead with Shabab Mankivadi netting one and Jon elliott also scoring. With John Gibson netting for Whitley Bay Baptist Church. That's as near as the Baptists got as City piled on the pressure to win 7-2. Mankivadi scored a hat trick, Elliott got a second, David Simmons and Gary Hqarding rounded off the scoring with Damien Price getting Baptists second.
On Teesside their was a derby with debutantes All Saints Preston-on-Tees and Middlesbrough Baptists. David Dixon opened the scoring for Middlesbrough and by three quarters of the match were in commanding 5-0 lead with John Schofield scoring twice,Ian Marshall on the score sheet along with Mark Levin,Paul Scott of All Saints wrapping up the scoring with the final score 5-1.
