Sacriston were full value for a 5-2 victory over Sunderland Red House when they met in the Subsidiary Cup.
The result was about settled by the halfway stage when Sacriston led by four goals. Greg Coates and Ashley Bridge both scored twice and although Red House reduced the deficit with strikes by David Reader and Gary Stockell, Sacriston finished strongly as Coates completed his hat-trick.
Lumley went down 4-1 to visitors Jarrow St Bedes, also in the Subsidiary Cup. There was little to choose between the sides in the opening half which ended 1-1. Mark Smith struck for Lumley and Stephen Green replied for Jarrow St Bedes.
In the second period the visitors gained control and ended comfortable 4-1 winners with strikes by William Gage (2) and David Marshall.
