CHILDREN in County Durham are being urged to put bus travel in the picture.
Bus company Arriva is running a painting and drawing competition for youngsters under the age of 11, asking them to depict what they like most about travelling on buses.
The company will donate 50p to Macmillan Cancer Relief for each picture received.
The winner will receive a family trip to the cinema and their picture will be displayed on the company's buses.
Arriva North-East managing director Steve Noble said: "Our buses cover so many miles that a picture displayed in one will quickly be seen by hundreds of people.
"As part of our Going Your Way campaign we are really keen to involve local children in projects such as this and also to support the fantastic work of Macmillan Cancer Relief in Durham."
Entries should be A4 size and sent to Jason Lees, HTPR, 1 Wrens Court, Sutton Coldfield, B72 1RT.
The closing date for entries is Friday, October 31.
