PEOPLE suffering chronic medical condition in Sedgefield borough are being offered another opportunity to take part in a Department of Health initiative.
The Expert Patient Programme is a national initiative offering courses to help people more effectively manage conditions including arthritis, asthma, back pain, multiple sclerosis and mental illness.
The first five courses in Sedgefield attracted 55 people.
The sixth starts next month. A taster event is being held on Monday, November 3, at 10am, in the Pioneering Care Centre, off Burn Lane, Newton Aycliffe.
Transport can be arranged and the courses are free to anyone living in Sedgefield borough.
