A FUNDRAISING drive with a difference will take charity supporters to northern Italy later this month.
Steve Poad, of Woodham, Newton Aycliffe, is joining neighbour Andrew Lawrence in a Mini Cooper to make the journey, in celebration of the cult Michael Caine film The Italian Job.
The event will help boost the funds of the NCH children's charity and the pair are being supported by Asda, which has raised £2,648 for the organisation this year.
Mr Poad and Mr Lawrence have participated in the annual event before. They will be among scores of Mini enthusiasts making the trip to Italy on October 27 to take part in a rally.
Anyone interested in sponsoring them can contact Mr Poad on (01325) 301555.
