Celebrity "survivor" and ex-politician's wife Christine Hamilton is to be the guest speaker at an NSPCC fundraising lunch.
It is being held on Friday, November 28, at the Seaham Hall Hotel, in Seaham, County Durham, which was recently named as Hotel of the Year for England by the AA.
The event is being backed by award-winning lifestyle store The House, at Yarm, near Stockton, which is organising a fashion walkabout.
Tickets cost £40 and include a three-course meal, and a reception drink provided by Crosby Homes.
Interest in the event is already high and the NSPCC is asking people to reserve places early.
Deborah Rack, the charity's events manager, said: "The combination of the fantastic venue and a personality as entertaining as Christine Hamilton makes this an unmissable event.
"We only have a limited number of tickets available so we are asking people to book as soon as possible so that they are not disappointed."
