A school is planning to experience a disaster for the next two days - to help pupils learn.
Working with experts from the University of Teesside, pupils at the Roman Catholic Newlands School in Middlesbrough, will today and tomorrow collect information about a fictional flood, harnessing computer technology to deliver television-style news reports.
The sessions are designed to promote information technology and improve communication skills.
