A MAJOR construction project on Tyneside has boosted staff numbers at consultants Faithful and Gould.
The company has been appointed as employer's agent for the £55m Trinity Gardens scheme on Newcastle Quayside, which has seen it increase staff at its Newcastle office beyond 30, with more jobs to follow.
Its wide-ranging role includes project management, quantity surveying, and planning supervision.
Martin Round, regional director said: "Trinity Gardens is a very challenging and complex project, given that it is a mixed development in a conservation area and requires major diversion works to reroute various cables and mains water."
Trinity Gardens will include 160,000sq ft of office space, an 81-bed hotel, 500-space car park, a number of ground floor retail outlets including cafes and bistros plus major public areas.
The 100-week construction programme is due to be completed by May 2005.
