The Redcar branch of the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal will be launched at 11am on Saturday, November 1, by the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Norah Cooney.
Cadets from the Army Cadet Force and the Air Training Corps will march in High Street, Redcar.
There, a stall near the bus shelters will sell items such as wooden crosses and tax disc holders and a raffle will be drawn.
