A scheme to improve street lighting and make people living in part of Hartlepool feel safer has been unveiled.
It is proposed to renew 12 existing lights and install eight additional ones in the area covered by Carlisle Street, Berwick Street, Allendale Street and Farndale Road, in Seaton Carew.
The cost of the improvement scheme is £13,147 and will be met from the minor works budget of Hartlepool Borough Council's south neighbourhood consultative forum.
