SUBVERSIVE radio presenter and comedian Mark Steel appears in the region on Saturday night.
Mark Steel, who wrote the best-selling autobiography Reasons to be Cheerful about the life of a left-wing agitator in the 1980s and 1990s, will perform at Stockton Arc.
The star is best-known for his award-winning BBC Radio 4 show and BBC 4's quirky television lectures on the life of historical figures such as Beethoven and Karl Marx.
A few tickets are available for the comedian's show, which starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £10 or £9 for concessions. Call (01642) 525199 to book.
