MARKS and Spencer has unveiled its revamped Bishop Auckland store to shoppers.
The company has invested £120,000 in a month-long renovation of its Newgate Street shop, where long-serving employee Elizabeth Turnbull cut a ribbon to mark the completion of the work yesterday.
As part of the celebrations there will be demonstrations of dinner party cooking tomorrow, and Escomb Primary School pupils will serenade customers on Saturday. Halloween pictures by Cockton Hill children will be on display in the store.
