Awards will be presented next week to organisations which have made a contribution to improving health in the Stockton area.
More than 30 organisations will be presented with a Food For Health Award by Stockton's Mayor, Councillor Ann Cains, on Wednesday at the town's Riverside College.
Schools, cafes, nursing homes, workplace canteens and a leisure centre are being recognised for good hygiene, no smoking environments and healthy food choices.
North Tees Primary Care Trust, Stockton Borough Council and North Tees and Hartlepool health trusts have combined to back the awards.
