Metro Church Sunderland continue their 100 per cent record in a 5-2 win at Airport Church, Gary Thomas scored before half time then three goals in ten minutes of the restart from Ryan Pender, Gareth Hern and Thomas a second, after an hour Hern got his second.
Matthew Slater and Sam Cleghorn scored at the death for Airport Church.
Andy Watson scored from the penalty spot and in the second half against his old team St Peters Low Fell. Rob Laybourne squared the match 1-1, Andy Widdrington made it 2-1 for Jesmond Parish Church, Barry Ward scored for 2-2, Laybourne got his second and Steve Reynolds direct from a free kick for a 4-2 win.
Dean Swanston put Ryton Churches 1-0 ahead in the first half at home to Jesmond Parish Athenians. Bryan Gilour made it 2-0, Jason Alexander got Athenians first goal at 2-1, Gilmour completed his hat-trick and Joe Hilton scored for Athenians with David Hayles wrapping up the scoring for Ryton to win 5-2.
Consett St Patrick's recorded another 5-0 win at Heworth Christian Fellowship, Kieron Young scored and Andrew Murray made it 2-0 at half time. Murray, David Rowe and Andrew Poole scored in the second half.
Lanchester Chapel had Matthew Bradford given them a 1-0 lead at home to Jesmond Parish Corinthians, Andrew Sword scored for 2-0 and Shane Hurst got a goal back for Corinthians.
Paul Hobbs and Jon Morley scored for each team respectively in the first half at St Aidan's Chapel went on to beat Yarm Emmanuel 3-1 Steve Wintersgill and Chris Ball notched Saints' goals.
Dan Jackson led the way for Youth Ministry Team Waldridge at Heaton Hearts. David Standley made it 2-0 and Matt Hiblin scored for Heaton. Stanley got his second with Kevin Nicholson scoring for Youth to win 4-1.
City Church Sunderland travelled to Hope House Sunderland and had Gary Harding and Shabab Mankivandi put them into a 2-0 lead at the break. Anthony Jones scored straight into the second half and Karl Nolan scored for Hope House to share the spoils of a 2-2 draw.
Middlesbrough Baptists' David Dixon scored after20 minutes at Whitley Bay Baptist Church to take all three points in a 1-0 win.
In the Charity Shield Stockton Baptist Tabernacle needed to beat Monkwearmouth Christians at home to progress into the knockout stage. Phil McQuid gave them a dream start and Andrew Bulmer made it 2-0 for Stockton at half time. John Iley made it three and Stockton thought they were home and dry when Andrew Bolt and Steven Dix pulled two quick goals back for Monkwearmouth. Stockton won 3-2 and now face a home tie against local rivals Middlesbrough Baptists.
