BUS tours taking in Newcastle's historic architecture will be on offer next week.
Newcastle City Council's tourist information team has arranged two days of city sightseeing trips.
The one-hour tours of the city will run every half an hour on Wednesday and Friday, from 10am to 3pm. The price will be £2 per adult and £1 for children.
Councillor Tony Flynn, city council leader, said: "The renaissance of Newcastle as a world-class city has already attracted people from around the world to this region.
"This will be an opportunity for local people to also get a chance to look at their surroundings from a new perspective and with the benefit of a commentary providing a wealth of background information."
