Peter Robson added a second when he skipped past a defender and slotted home. Barney never gave up however, Joseph Lewandowski's strike was their only reward.

This was Old Boys' best display of the season, but they still lost to a very physical East End who were indebted to Darren Watson's hat-trick and one from Roy Winter. Peter Gray notched a brace for the losers for whom Chris Brockbank was man of the match.
Fox and Hounds 0, Grey Horse 10
A very impressive performance from Grey Horse who once they had overcome their opponents' early resistance totally dominated proceedings and gave an excellent display of finishing. Fox, to their credit, never gave up the ghost but succumbed to goals from Darren Tate (3), David Palmer, Duane Beagle, Andrew Wetherell (2) each and m of m Michael Weston.

after 50 Shuttle led 2-0. But then David Wilson pulled one back and the same player almost levelled but was denied by an acrobatic goalline clearance, the defender doing himself a mischief in the process.Shuttle restored their two-goal advantage before a Gary Wilson scored a shot from distance for Hole in the Wall. Shuttle's scorers were Peter Wilkinson, Michael Shaw and Terry Greenstreeet and the respective men of the match were Kevin Cox for Wall and Darren Hickey for Shuttle.
In the South Durham Charity Bowl the league's three representatives were all successful but pride of place goes to Heighington, who in triumphing over Roddymoor, recorded their first win of the season. The scores were 0-0 at full time, but extra time saw Heighington take a two-goal lead through Nigel Gamblin and Gareth Marshall, before Roddymoor fought back to level. Heighington won the penalty shoot-out 4-3.
Killinghall Arms also held their nerve in a penalty shoot-out, winning 5-4. Newton Aycliffe beat Wearhead United 4-2.
