SOME of the region's most talented young musicians and performers will appear at a North-East entertainment venue this week.
Youngsters in bands from secondary schools in the region will take to the stage at the Arc, in Stockton, on Friday.
The live event, in collaboration with Creative Partnerships, will mark the end of the fortnight-long Lemon Top Festival of Youth Arts, which has featured dance and arts performances.
Kevin Parker, director of the Arc centre, said: "The whole idea of the Lemon Top Festival of Youth Arts is to celebrate the fantastic talent we have in the region.
"It is a brilliant opportunity for young people to come and show us what they can do."
The bands performing at Lemon Top Live are Divine Intervention, from West Redcar School, Redcar, Last Minute, from Bishopsgarth School, Stockton, The Shortlist, from Hall Garth School, Middlesbrough, and The Elastic Band, from Haughton School, Darlington.
For tickets, call (01642) 525180.
