YOUNGSTERS have been given the chance to come face-to-face with a range of creatures including snakes, spiders and lizards.
The Creepy Crawlies and Furry Beasts event was one of a series taking place to mark Halloween in Hartlepool during Spoo-Quay Week, which runs until Sunday.
All the events will be held at the town's Historic Quay and Museum of Hartlepool at the marina.
Saturday's event will be repeated on Thursday, and there will also be craft sessions and chilling tales taking place during the week.
All events at the museum will be free, while the usual entry charges for the Historic Quay will apply - £5.50 for adults and £2.75 for concessions.
