DOCTOR Who fan Paul Bianco has taken his obsession to new lengths, by transforming his kitchen into a Tardis.
The 50-year-old model maker even says the time travelling telephone box makes his home in Hartlepool look bigger.
Mr Bianco, whose past creations include K9 and a Dalek, has also just finished making Bessie, the car driven by actor Jon Pertwee when he played Doctor Who.
His next project is to build the Whomobile, which was invented by Mr Pertwee and featured in the last episode he appeared in, Planet of the Spiders.
Mr Bianco said: "I am a real Doctor Who fanatic and I just thought it would be a great idea to have Tardis as the door to my kitchen.
"When people see it, they think it looks great"
The model car, which is approximately two feet long, was build using medium density fibreboard, plastic, mesh, perspex and some material from one of Mr Bianco's unwanted leather jackets.
Mr Bianco said: "It took me six months to build, but it was worth the effort.
"I was asked to build it for the Doctor Who convention that was held in Stockton recently, and now it has being sold to a man in Sunderland."
