THE public can have another say on draft plans for the devel-opment of Redcar's Coatham Enclosure from today.
The plans for revitalising the 35-acre site - turning it into a visitor attraction, including a swimming pool and housing - will be on display until December 15.
The proposals are already based on public opinion, trawled by Persimmon Homes and incorporated in a development brief by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.
The project is expected to create more than £45m of private sector investment.
"The public can play a very important part in helping the council make a decision on whether to move into a legally-binding agreement with Persimmon - and help Persimmon in drawing up its final, detailed scheme," said cabinet member for economic development Councillor Vera Moody.
The council's assistant director of regeneration services, Peter Ellis, said: "The most favourable time-scale would be a decision on whether to enter into a legal agreement early next year, a planning application submitted by mid-2004 and a possible start on site construction work in early or mid-2005."
Questionnaires are available at the library display and from the council's economic development department at Belmont House, Rectory Lane, Guisborough.
