HARTLEPOOL United boss Neale Cooper could be ready to send out more of his squad out on loan, writes NICK LOUGHLIN.
After seeing Marcus Richardson find the net at Lincoln during a loan stint at Sincil Bank, Cooper is warming to the idea of shipping out more.
The Pool boss is frustrated at the lack of impact a pack of his reserve team regulars have had on the first team this season.
Jermaine Easter, Adam Boyd and Paul Arnison have been regular's in Martin Scott's Avon Insurance League unbeaten league leaders, but have only played part-time roles in the first team this season.
Easter netted for the reserves last week and will be part of the team which goes to York this afternoon in the League Cup, but has proved a disappointment on his substitute appearances for Cooper's team. "I need players who are ready to step straight into the team and do a good job when needed,'' he said. "Marcus did well on loan and others going out is something we can look at.
"There's one or two in the squad who need more than reserve games. It's a big jump from reserve team football to the first team.
"The reserve team are doing well this season which is good to see, but some of them have let themselves down.
"Players have got to be able to handle playing in the first-team, it is totally different to playing for the reserves.''
