The annual presentation night was recently attended by 130 players and their guests in Ushaw Moor WMC to celebrate a highly successful year for the League.
Superb entertainment was provided by Sue Sweeney and Adrian Harris to ensure an enjoyable night for all concerned.
Nine teams compete presently in the League in four different competitions throughout the year.
The final placings in the Winter Rinks League were: Crowtrees 76 points, Ushaw Moor 70, Sherburn Village 60, Esh Winning CC 50, Langley Park A 40, Newhouse WMC 36, Esh Winning FC 36, Low Spennymoor 34, Langley Park B 30.
The Spring triples League was won by Ushaw Moor, runners-up Esh Winning Cricket Club.
The team knockout final was played at Sherburn Village WMC and won by Esh Winning Cricket Club, runners-up Langley Park B.
The Keith Turnbull Memorial Trophy was awarded to the winners of a new Pairs knockout competition played at Crowtrees WMC. It was won this year by Terry Hadfield and John Kitson (Crowtrees), runners-up were John Mattemoe and John Smith (Low Spennymoor).
