Tow Law Station tasted victory for the first time this season.
Opponents Wearhead took an early lead in the Albert Vickers Cup through Paul Tennick. The hosts equalised through Paul McMenamin who scored again in the second half to see the Station home 2-1.
Roddymoor were under strength for the visit of Byers Green St Peters and paid the penalty. The visitors gained a comfortable 5-0 win which brought their recent poor run to an end.
In the league the top four sides all won. Rugby Club beat Howden Australian 7-0 through Dwayne Hinds (3), John Paul Collinson (2), Matthew Tyrie and Alan Jones.
Evenwood White Swan were twice behind at ten-man Stanley United but won 4-2. Lee Furber and Chris Pounder scored for Stanley and the Swan replied through Gary Dowson and a Kevin Watson hat trick.
West Auckland Queens Head top scored with a 10-1 victory over Crook White Swan. Scorers were Darren Wilson (3), Hamish Foster (2), Gavin Lonsdale (2), Wayne Nicholson, Carl Jones and David Huntrods.
Anthony Dargue was man of the match for Coundon and Leeholme Juniors who won 4-1 at Stanhope Town. Coundon led 2-0 before Darren Fletcher scored what proved to be a Stanhope consolation. David Wales (3) and Lee Thompson were on target for the winners.
