Burnmoor Cricket Club moved into second spot in the Premiership with a home win over Fishburn Wmc. McHahon opened the scoring after only three mins.
Glyn Stockport levelled for the visistors with Hall hitting the winner in the 52nd minute. Sherburn Lambton Arms moved into third spot winning 7-1 at Sacriston wmc. Andrew Coulthard, Dave Taylor, Dale Robinson, Tony Simpson, Martin Clough and Dean Clough were all on Target for the Lambton. A penalty from Ian Wlodarczak and a strike from Stephen Flockett gave Sedgefield St Edmunds a fine away win over Houghton Glendale. This ended the Glendale's recent run. Two goals from John Harrison plus a strike from prolific scorer Tony Hanson gave visitors Brandon United a fine win at Pelton Roab, Ryan Drummond scoring for Pelton.
In the First Division in-form side Durham City Wmc maintained top spot with an excellent 5-1 home win over visitors Coxhoe wmc, Paul Richardson bagging four goals plus a strike from Alan Humble. Goals from Barrie Dixon, Chris Lines and Jimmy Slater gave Witton Gilbert Wmc a 3-1 home win over Sunderland Lakeside, Paul Russell scoring for Lakeside. Two goals from Paul Gill gave Brandon Bay Horse a 2-1 home win over Belmont Sportsman's Arms, Phil Lloyd replying for the Sportsman's.
In the Third Division Birtley King William entertained Washington Arms who, despite a terrific man of the match performance by Birtley central defender Stephen Raine, proved to be too strong, the Arms winning 3-0 with goals from Vinny Moran, Campbell Dempsey and Michael Shackleton. A ten-goal thriller saw the away side Brandon Sports beat Belmont Wmc 6-4. Michael Fort (3), Scott Hopson (2), and Lee Nyland saw the visistors home. Washington Honest Boy moved into third place with a 4-2 win over the Coach and Eight, Neville Caffery and Craig Cockburn both hitting two each. Pittington FC entertained Durham Bede Lodge and Pittington started the game brightly. Pittington's Aiden Lynn opened the scoring then Forster doubled the lead. Bede Lodge came into the game in the second half and Drew Urwin pulled one back for the visitors and Bede kept battling and were awarded a late penalty which Colin Laverick missed to give Pittington the win. Bearpark Wmc shared the points in their 2-2 draw at Houghton Chilton Lodge, Carl Wilkinson and Lee Wilkinson scoring.
Leaders in the Fourth Division Lumley Snooker Club had to work hard to beat visistors Burnmoor Dun Cow 3-1, Peter Birleson hitting two goals plus one from Grant Diehl, Jabez Gray scoring for the Dun Cow. Two goals from Ian Airton plus one from Ivor Bates was enough to give the Glendenning Arms the points in their 3-2 win at West Rainton Greyhound. Steve Holmes and Ian Brown replying for the Greyhound. Esh Winning Cricket Club were beaten 2-1 by visitors Witton Gilbert White Tunn, Bob Russell for the home side and Graham Anderson and Lewis Nicholson for the visitors.
In the Presidents Trophy New Herington Wmc were too strong for the home side Durham Pot and Glass, winning 5-2 thanks to goals from Dave Herron (2), Dave Waddle, Luke Charlesworth and Ian Walker. Byers Green wmc also progressed into the next round beating visitors Pelton Fleece 6-1.
The Durham City afc Supporters Cup saw Newton Aycliffe wmc progress to the next round with a fine 5-0 home win over the Birtley Coach and Horses, Michael Carr (2), Billy Davies, Scott Brassel and Carl Simms scoring. Goals from Craig Elliott, Chris Roughly and Glen Jackson was not enough to prevent Lumley Fc from crashing out 4-3 at Chester Horner's
