The Under-13 girls from Norton met up with Sunderland 24/7 for the second time in eight days, the result was about the same but a completely different game.
Norton pulled out all the stops during this game, with just seven players available each girl gave 110 per cent throughout. Sunderland scored four goals in each half with some clinical finishing to take all the points.
Norton played some great football but lady luck let them down. The scoreline does not reflect the game which was played with a passion and great team spirit. The manager nominated all the girls for girl of the match.
