A BOOK devised by a former North Yorkshire schoolgirl is set to become a best seller in the US.
Along with five of her university colleagues, Sally Stephenson has given her views about how to create the perfect universe.
Sally, whose family live at Aldborough, near Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, is now celebrating publication of the book, called How to Create a Flawless Universe.
The 24-year-old former Harrogate Grammar School pupil and her colleagues Rob Longworth, Kayt Manson, Danny Miller, Carly Rowe and Emma Tildsley embarked on the project while students at Northumbria University in Newcastle.
During their second year of a graphic design course they were challenged to devise, design and produce a book.
And with a little inspiration from the Bible, the group hit on the idea of a publication to help people create their own ideal universe.
Readers are given a checklist to see all the right ingredients are included with advice about how to establish planets and give them appropriate names.
The book has gone on sale in stores throughout the country and next year it will be released in the US.
