HARTLEPOOL United's impressive young guns are giving Neale Cooper the chance to revamp his squad.
The Pool boss has allowed Paul Arnison and Marcus Richardson to go out on loan this season, while Kevin Henderson has completed a free transfer to Carlisle.
Last week he made Adam Boyd, Anthony Williams, Jon Bass, Mark Robinson and Jermaine Easter available for a loan transfer, along with Arnison, and revealed the club's batch of teenagers are making his job easier.
Pool's reserve team are unbeaten this season, with a number of the club's teenagers regulars in the team.
David Foley, Matty Robson, John Brackstone and Steven Istead have all appeared this season in the first team.
Cooper, whose side lost 1-0 to Notts County on Saturday, said: "We took young Jack Wilkinson with us on Saturday and Darren Craddock has been on the bench as well because he has been excellent for the reserves.
"They are in the positions they are on merit and we will do the same with other boys as well.
"There's a few of the experienced players not involved and they need to get first team football. We have an excess of players and they are not playing many games.
"That's why the likes of Paul Arnison and Marcus Richardson have gone out on loan.''
Saturday's game with Whitby is not all-ticket, but supporters can buy discounted tickets in advance - by 5pm on Friday - from the Victoria Park ticket office.
Meanwhile, Saturday's victors Notts County have been warned that Football League patience is wearing thin after the club completed 17 months in administration and they could be kicked out of the League.
Administrator Paul Finnity, overseeing a £3m buy-out of the club, delivers a progress report on the club's financial position tomorrow.
But that buy-out was expected to have been completed by the end of October, with County having been given until Tuesday, December 9, to emerge from administration or face expulsion from the League.
But the deal has not yet been finalised and a League spokesman said: ''We will soon be approaching the absolute final deadline and Notts County could be taking its last breath.
''If they do not come out of administration by December 9, they will be out of the League."
