ORGAN CONCERT: The North East Theatre Organ Association has organised concerts by Donald Mackenzie, resident organist at The Odeon, Leicester Square, London, on Saturday, at 7pm, and Sunday, at 2.30pm, in the Victoria Centre, Howden-le-Wear.

PUBLIC MEETING: Saint Cuthberts RC Primary School, Crook, will be holding a public meeting tonight, at 6.30pm, in the school hall, to discuss plans for the new school.
CHRISTMAS FAIR: The Salvation Army will be holding a Christmas fair at its base in Queen Street, Crook, on Saturday, from 10am to noon.
VICTORIAN NIGHT: Saint Cuthberts RC Social and Care Group will present a Victorian Night at The Elite Hall, Crook, on Saturday and the following Saturday, at 7.30pm. Tickets are available on (01388) 766195, (01388) 764733 or (01388) 488666.
HISTORY TALK: Howden-le-Wear Local History Society will meet next Tuesday, at 7pm in the Community Centre for a talk on the American Civil War.
