PUPILS at Polam Hall School for Girls, in Darlington, have been learning about business by setting up companies.
Their enterprise will be seen at the school's Christmas fair on Saturday, from 11am to 3pm, when two of the pupils' companies will compete to sell their products.
June Parkin, of the school's business studies department, said: "The idea behind the Christmas fair is for the girls to learn how the business world works. The whole concept is a great lesson in business risks and responsibilities."
