A NORTH-EAST celebrity has turned down the chance to pose for Playboy.
Emma Nicholson, 24, formerly Emma Padfield, was recently voted ninth in a list of the most beautiful UK woman by readers of mens' magazine Maxim.
It led to an offer to pose for Playboy magazine, but Mrs Nicholson, who has a nine month-old daughter, has declined.
A former regular on the London celebrity nightlife scene, Mrs Nicholson swapped it all for marriage to factory boss Colin Nicholson.
The pair now live near Stanley, with their daughter Imogen.
Emma came to fame as one of the bikini-clad girls who accompanied Keith Chegwin around the doorsteps of Britain on Channel 4 show The Big Breakfast. She was also a Miss Great Britain finalist. She appeared regularly in tabloid newspapers and in the past was romantically linked to footballers Lee Bowyer and Jonathan Woodgate, both former Leeds United players now with Newcastle United.
She has been signed up by London agency Super Models.
