A CANDLE-LIT procession, a craft fair and a visit from Father Christmas are some of the attractions lined up for the Ferryhill Christmas fair.
St Luke's Church Hall will host a craft fair and Father Christmas will be with his elves in the grotto on Friday, November 28.
Local organisations, community groups and schools will take part in a candle-lit procession from St Luke's Church to the town hall, followed by carol singing and music from a college band. The switching on of the Christmas Lights will then take place.
The event, organised by Ferryhill Town Council and Ferryhill 2000 Committee, will move on to the Manor House Hotel in the evening, with more music.
During the day there will also be a Friday market, with fun fair rides for the children and a farmers' Market.
